I've always been fascinated my Maradona and his time at Napoli, how 30 years later his legacy still lives on. Inspired by the artwork you see adorning buildings in Naples I wanted to work on something a little bit different.
This image inspired me as it was Maradona celebrating winning the title with his team mates and the staff. In my design I decided to strip it back, focusing on Diego lost in the moment with the world a blur around him. I wanted him to come off the page and to be the central point like he was for the team.
